Role: Business Development Manager β Air Freight Location: New Delhi, India Reporting To: Head of Sales / Regional Manager
We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager to accelerate revenue growth and expand our client base across the high-potential North India region.

Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Do)
1. Revenue Generation & Client Acquisition
Develop and close new air freight business with exporters, manufacturers, and traders across North India.
Identify, pitch, and secure large-volume air export and import clients.
Collaborate with WCA forwarders to build agency relationships and secure inbound/cross-trade opportunities.
2. Commercial & Solution Delivery
Use Seair Globalβs 17+ airline contracts to provide competitive end-to-end air freight solutions.
Negotiate freight rates, service agreements, and sales contracts to maximize profit.
Create and deliver strong commercial proposals and presentations.
3. Market Insight & Strategy
Conduct market research and track competitor activities within the air freight sector.
Identify new business opportunities aligned with regional growth trends.
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to exceed revenue targets.
4. Operational & Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to position Seair as the preferred logistics partner.
Work closely with Operations, Customer Service, and Finance teams to ensure smooth execution of services and accurate pricing.
Support process improvements for customer onboarding, pricing, and service delivery.
Required Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)
3β7 years of proven business development or freight forwarding sales experience.
Solid understanding of air freight, cargo documentation, customs clearance, and compliance.
Proven history of meeting or exceeding revenue and profitability targets.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation strengths.
Self-driven, goal-oriented, and able to manage priorities independently.
Highly Preferred (Nice to Have)
Existing customer network in North India (exporters, traders).
Experience working with freight alliance networks like WCA (World Cargo Alliance).
Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce) or freight management systems.
Relevant education in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or International Trade.
