We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accounts Executive / Assistant Manager to support our accounting team in day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliations.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Perform intercompany reconciliations and ensure accurate recording of related party transactions across India, Canada, and USA entities.
Assist in preparation of budgets, cash flow forecasts, and variance analysis.
Oversee payroll accounting, employee reimbursements, and expense accruals.
Support statutory and external audits, ensuring timely completion and compliance with internal and external requirements.
Ensure adherence to U.S. accounting standards (U.S. GAAP), tax regulations, and corporate financial policies.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in accounting processes.
Collaborate with cross-border finance teams (India and Canada) for consolidation and management reporting.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred but not mandatory).
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in logistics, freight forwarding, or service-based industries.
Good to have additional knowledge of U.S. GAAP and inter-company accounting.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis skills.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a multi-entity environment.
